New Year New Camera Where's my New Lens?

It's 2009. I'm in my usual booo January poopy mood, but am thoroughly enjoying my new Canon EOS 50D camera. This thing is awesome. Now I'm saving my pennies to buy a nice portrait lens. I have my old film 35-70 but am growing weary of how slow, loud, and soft it is. I've got my eye on either getting a fifty, probably the 1.4, wish I could afford the 1.2, or the 24-70L. Ohhhh dear. I will have lots more to post coming up soon, I have had some time to mess around with my new cam so I have some neat pieces. Hope everyone had a great holiday season and are so far enjoying 2009. I think it's going to be a good one.

Awww poor poopoo. I suppose it is my fault. I'm sad you and I and Jax didn't end up going to van. What's the big trip this year do you know? I want to go! Although I haven't been going to the course union meetings so I have no idea what's going on. :/

awww poor leetle girl! I'll give you some. I have tons. Willow or compressed? I guess you don't care. Yeah the next time we're getting together remind me because I'm not taking drawing this year so I have a lot of charcoals and chalks and pencils that are going mostly unused! :o You should do more drawing, it's good for you! ;)

Sounds good, ja. So what are you taking this year? Specializing in photography? Or "majoring"? We're getting togther soon! How does Sunday sound? :P
Julie and I were thinking of going out for dindin and desert somewhere, then out to a bar to chill and plaster ourselves to the floor. Haven't worked out any details. Said I'd run it by you, hear your thoughts and such first.
